We presently have opportunities for permanent, team orientated and results focused individuals to perform the role of an Open Cut Examiner, whose primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and health of all persons and equipment in and around the mining operations.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have an absolute commitment to working safely and complying with all site safety standards and mine working procedures.
Successful applicants will have the ability to work autonomously with an energetic and proactive work approach as well as extensive experience working within open cut mining operations. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be comfortable working as part of a highly focused team operating within a climate of continuous improvement.
The following certifications are required for this role:
A current Open Cut Examiners ticket;
G2 and S1, S2, S3; and
A current First Aid certificate.
Qualifications and experience operating heavy mining equipment will be highly regarded.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with our team within the Blackwater Mining Operations Department. Employment conditions will be as per the BHP Coal Pty Ltd Workplace Agreement 2007.
