Based in the Brisbane Office, Human Resources Operations Team is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, Operations the successful applicant will provide Human Resources support to various functional groups through facilitating the delivery of BMA's people systems, delivery of HR projects and coaching employees and line Management in HR systems, policies and processes, across the company. Ensuring compliance with all aspects of BHP Billiton / BMA departmental policies and values will also form part of your overall responsibility.

Proactive, credible and influential, you will relate to people at all levels, building close working partnerships with the HR Team, Line Managers and HR Professionals on our Mine Sites. With evident multi-tasking abilities, strong organisational skills and bias for follow-up are a must.

Degree qualified with HR experience or with the relevant technical / tertiary background you will hold a proven track record in developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies and strategies, with experience in applying modern HR principles. With a demonstrated ability to understand and interpret information quickly, and inform others with accuracy, tact and diplomacy, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Operational experience gained from working on a mine site is highly desirable.
